Our responsibility


Whether you are a commercial or not-for-profit organisation, a multinational or one-person publishing outfit – PLS works for you. Our three broad objectives are:
 

  • to provide the UK publishing industry with an outstanding level of service which, crucially, is highly cost effective
  • to work with fellow rightsholder partners and the CLA to ensure that collective licensing protects and complements publishers’ primary business. To ensure that collective licensing remains relevant by balancing the needs of rightsholders and information users
  • to support and complement the work of the trade associations.
